Julie Rosen Named Chair of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s New Regulatory Affairs Council

Welborn’s Julie Rosen has been selected as the first chair of the new “Regulatory Affairs Council” of the Colorado Chamber of Commerce.

The council was established this January in response to the state government’s proliferation of new statutes and regulations to focus the Chamber’s advocacy and reform efforts with regulatory bodies.

The Regulatory Council provides expertise in the areas of Colorado rulemaking and implementation. While not limited to environmental matters, they will be a heavy focus of the Council. To ensure that regulation and rule implementation does not unfairly increase the costs of doing business or make it burdensome for regulated businesses to function, the council will work closely with state regulatory agencies and the executive branch.

This leadership role dovetails with Julie’s experience and expertise in environmental and regulatory arenas. Congratulations, Julie!
