Overview
Eric is an experienced transactional attorney who specializes primarily in real estate transactions (including buying, selling, lending, development, easements and access, property management, surveys, leasing and title insurance), as well as business law and planning, entity formation and representation.
Eric’s practice includes representing private equity investor clients in the acquisition of multifamily residential apartment and industrial properties across the country, and associated title, lending, property management, and development issues. Eric also counsels clients and provides representation for acquisition loans, construction loans, various loan assumptions and providing loan opinion letters. Eric’s prior legal experience also includes foreign investments and real property acquisitions in Mexico, bankruptcy (debtors and creditors), estate planning, asset protection planning, and probate.

- Representation of multifamily real estate investors in acquiring many large apartment complexes in Colorado and across the country.
- Representation of various real estate investors in acquiring many storage unit properties, campgrounds, RV parks, and mobile home villages all across the country.
- Representation of borrowers and lenders in various acquisition loans, loan assumptions, loan defaults, and workouts, including complex portfolio loans across multiple states.
- Representation of various out-of-state law firms, borrowers and lenders to draft or revise loan documents to comply with Colorado public trustee system.
- Representation of many borrowers and guarantors in preparing and issuing loan opinion letters for lender compliance.
- Representation of foreign oil and gas companies in company formation and loans for Colorado oil and gas development.
- Representation of landlords, tenants and subtenants with leases, subleases and amendments for commercial and industrial properties.
- Assist buyers, sellers, lenders and title companies with due diligence, title and survey review, access and easement issues, and resolving complex title issues.
