John Masterson appointed to the Bar Counsel Review and Oversight Committee

Welborn shareholder John Masterson has been appointed to the Bar Counsel Review and Oversight Committee by the Wyoming Supreme Court.

The Review and Oversight Committee oversees the Office of Bar Counsel, including preparation of the annual budget, hiring and evaluation of Bar Counsel, and providing necessary approval to initiate an investigation in the absence of a formal complaint, filing of formal disciplinary charges, and review of Bar Counsel’s decision to dismiss a complaint following investigation.

Previously, John served on the Board of Professional Responsibility for six years, which hears and decides the aforementioned disciplinary cases.
